Open Positions:

Application Engineer

Perform the duties of an APPLICATIONS ENGINEER for sales opportunities related to the LC-X platform.

Qualifications include:

  • B.S. or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or related fields
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong Communications Skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent Presentation and Demonstration Skills
  • Understanding of Electro-Optical systems and Enterprise Integration of EO Systems
  • Ability to Travel 30-70%

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Apply an in-depth understanding of various security technologies such as thermal, IR, and laser or IR illumination, CCTV, digital video recording and management, video analytics and associated software used to meet customer’s needs in the area of perimeter management and multi-sensor management.
  • The person will server as a technical point of contact for sales opportunities with customers and system integrators. Typical assignments will include working on complex multi-layered security designs, presentations and demonstrations, and RFP responses.

Account Manager

Establish and maintain distribution and user relationships with buyers of Lumistar products and services.

Qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of the physical security industry, its history, players, products and applications; knowledge of night vision technologies preferred
  • Existing verifiable relationships within the physical security industry, including system integrators, technology manufacturers, consultants, and specifying architects and engineers
  • 8+ years outside sales and relationship management experience relevant to the physical security industry
  • Proven ability to coordinate enterprise level sales opportunities as an integral member of a larger team
  • Verifiable track record of exceeding sales goals in excess of $3 million annually
  • Successful track record selling technology products and services
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated interest and/or understanding of networking, computer hardware or software equipment and video solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to generate sales plans, forecast pipelines and designate priorities
  • BA in Marketing, Economics or Business Administration preferred
  • Estimated travel: at least 20%

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Meet revenue targets through the sale of Lumistar products and services to current and new customers and partners
  • Proactive and reactive qualification of sales and relationship opportunities
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with Lumistar customers, potential customers, security system integrators, manufacturer representatives, industry consultants, and other organizations and individuals that influence the purchase of Lumistar products and services
  • Document and maintain accurate records regarding communications with business relationships above
  • Conduct and compile market and competitive research
  • Communicate market information to key Lumistar units, including Marketing, Product Support and R&D
  • Develop deep understanding of Lumistar products and their applicability to customer situations, security solution design
  • Conduct live customer demonstrations
